Covid-19 Policy
Covid-19 risk assessment and company policy. This statement outlines the measures we have put in place to comply with government guidance and ensure the safety of our cleaning operatives, employees and clients.
- Social distancing: when in groups of more than two people we maintain a minimum of 2 metres between individuals, in the office, when travelling and at client properties.
- Cleanliness: regular cleaning of objects and surfaces when touched, particularly high-use areas such as door handles and light switches. Hand sanitisers and cleaning products are provided.
- Hand washing: hand washing facilities are in place and stringent hand washing takes place as per NHS guidelines. Where possible, hands are dried with disposable paper towels.
- Gloves: a supply of disposable gloves is available for use in public places, collecting or returning keys, and when cleaning inside properties, with instruction on safe removal and disposal.
- PPE: surgical and non-surgical masks are available for use travelling to appointments and when in attendance, with safe disposal guidance provided.
- Symptoms: anyone who becomes unwell with a new continuous cough or high temperature is sent home and advised to follow stay-home guidance. The company reports cases to the relevant public health authority.
- Mental health: the company promotes mental health and wellbeing awareness and offers support where it can.
- Reporting: staff and operatives report to the main office, and line managers and directors are available to address any issues.
- Education and training: staff have been provided with this guidance and access to official sources, and the policy is reviewed and updated as guidance evolves.
This guidance was correct and up to date as of 23rd February 2022.
